STEM Spring Session 2023

In this exciting and interactive session, students (Grades 4 - 7) use LEGO MINDSTORMS to bring their ideas to life, learning key principles of engineering, robotics, and programming. Students will be paired up into teams of 5 each with an experienced mentor to guide them through challenges. There are 3 days in total, and there will be a new challenge introduced every day with unique problems that students can work together to solve. There are 30 slots in total, and kids will be split into 6 groups of 5, each with an experienced mentor to guide them through the process.

This program took place from 4/10/23 - 4/12/23.

    1. The first challenge will be MINE EXCURSION

    2. In a field covered with red and green blocks, teams have to try to build and program a robot that only picks up green blocks and brings them back to base

    3. However, they have to avoid red blocks as they are mines
